The language of instruction in some courses in the university is Turkish. New enrolled students are required to claim their English proficiency for English courses. Studying at English Preparation Class for one year is optional. Therefore, attending to the English Proficiency Exam is not compulsory. Those students who attend this exam and pass it will be considered as “proficient”.
Students who fail this exam have the opportunity to either attend to preparation class for one year or continue as a freshman.

Those students who do not attend the English Proficiency Exam are allowed to attend to English Preparation classes or continue as a freshman
